Ninja Worrier

This picture book is about Max, who wants to climb and tumble down at the park, like everyone else but especially like his big brother Zac. Max shows great resilience when he tries to overcome his anxieties, by retrieving his brother’s cap, after the wind takes it.

So, the story and the ‘hook’ is about Max who is not quite brave enough to try new things – until he must. The play on words between ‘warrior’ and ‘worrier’ drives the script and the action throughout.  This story

is very contemporary and the action is familiar to children 4 to 8, who all think they are action heroes and invincible like all the superstars they see in the media. Will Max succeed?
