Theo the Word Dinosaur

This is an exciting chapter book for children 8 to 11 and tells the story of a young boy Luca, who is unsure of himself as he lacks confidence in most things. He discovers a tiny dinosaur Theo, in his letterbox and they form a warm and suppotive relationship, as Luca tries to help Theo in his quest to re-join ‘the elders’. The climax of the story comes as a ‘dazzle of dinosaurs with luminescent wings’ return to collect Theo.

Will Theo be ready in time to join them? A clever twist at the end of the story, leaves the possibility of a sequel, or just teases the reader to think and speculate as to what could happen next.
